Annabelle Gurwitch, an American comedian and host of a television show, is well known for her tenure as host of Dinner and a Movie. She is also a vocal advocate on the environment and human rights. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times best-selling author and an internationally acclaimed actor, was the New York Times's Bestselling Author for her memoirs: In the Place You Are They are I See That You Did An Effort Said Tomato You Say Fired I Say Shut up and was fired. It was also a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch has been a long-time host of TBS Dinner & a Movie. Her memorable television appearances comprise Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown and as well as her hosting of WA$TED, a sustainability show on The Planet Green Network.
