Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. She received her cumlaude degree from The University of Missouri Columbia with a degree in Communications and theater. She began her career with the city of Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in more than 20 musicals and plays. The most notable of these were The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. In addition she played 7 title roles at LA's Storybook Theatre. While continuing to study improvisation at The Groundlings and becoming a Company member of Theatre West Kelly also started finding roles on TV and in film. The voice of her and petite stature have enabled Kelly to be able to take on a range of roles. Her most well-known character is Naomi Watts' evil Samara from The Ring 2, but her most famous role was as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. From 2011 to 2015 Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party hopper in the evening as a series Regular on The TV Land sitcom The Exes. Additionally, she played Alyssa's sassy sexpert sibling on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the show on CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the mother of a stressed suburban family. Her soprano voice has been featured in a variety of cartoons including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she has appeared as the lovable, dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. She leads a tranquil private life with her husband and two small children. She loves sewing, writing as well as volunteering for school activities.
